Know what to order, and exactly how much
NAP turns your sales history into a purchase list you can trust: quantities ready to send to the vendor, in one on-demand report, inside Odoo.
Three steps, from scope to purchase order
1. Scope the report
Pick the warehouse, the period and, if you want, a vendor or a set of products.
2. Review the list
Quantities, safety stock and XYZ class for every line, with the full calculation behind it.
3. Launch replenishment
One click turns the selection into purchase orders, grouped so that each vendor gets a single order.
The problem
Too much ties up cash. Too little loses the sale.
Overstock
Capital frozen on shelves, write-offs on slow movers, warehouse space paid for goods that do not sell.
Stockout
Lost revenue, rushed orders at worse prices, customers who simply buy elsewhere.
Why a flat rule is not enough
A fixed reorder rule cannot tell a steady seller from an unpredictable one. NAP sizes the safety stock from each product's own demand variability, not from an arbitrary percentage.
The report
The what-to-order report
For the period, warehouse and vendor you choose. No permanent planning objects to maintain.
Quantity to order
Average daily demand over the forecast days plus the lead time, adjusted by stock on hand, incoming, outgoing and what is already in the procurement pipeline.
A calculation you can read
Each line carries a step-by-step explanation, so the buyer trusts the number instead of overriding it.
Several demand sources
Completed stock moves, an imported delivery history, manual demand entries and forecasted demand.
Quantities the vendor accepts
The proposal respects the vendor's minimum order quantity and is rounded up to the packaging multiple.
Clean data in
One-off large sales can be filtered out, the demand of a discontinued product moves to its replacement, and products that are not planned stay out of the report.
Safety stock
Statistics where they help, a warning where they do not
These are optional, so you can start simple and add them product family by product family.
Statistical safety stock
Instead of a flat percentage, the buffer follows the variability of the weekly demand and the service level you choose: 90, 95, 97.5 or 99 percent.
XYZ classification
X is stable demand, Y is variable, Z is erratic. Erratic products get no automatic buffer and are flagged for manual review, so no false precision is shown on unpredictable demand.
Forecast methods
Seasonal, damped trend or intermittent demand, or an automatic choice by XYZ class and recent error. When the history is too short, the report falls back to the average and says so.
The other side of the shelf
A slow-move report lists products with stock and no significant outbound movement, and end-of-life products are archived once their stock reaches zero.

Which Odoo apps does it need?
Purchase, Inventory and Products. It is available for Odoo 19 in Odoo Apps; the statistical options described here are in the 19.0 version.
Can I try it?
Yes, in the demo (Try the demo, at the top of the page), or on data like yours if you tell us about your products and vendors.
